ABOUT KEVIN PAINCHAUD
Kevin Painchaud is a Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist with Lookout Santa Cruz, an online daily news outlet. Previously, he worked as a photographer for the Santa Cruz Sentinel and has spent the last 25 years shooting for various magazines and newspapers. His photos have appeared on major news platforms such as ABC News, CBS, The Washington Post, NPR, CNN, and MSNBC, with his videos recently featured on ABC's World News Tonight.
In addition to his photography, Kevin is an award-winning director, producer, cinematographer, and editor with over 25 years of experience in video production. He has produced feature films, directed numerous TV shows, and created a wide range of corporate and promotional videos. He received an Emmy nomination for his music-focused TV show, Muzic on the Edge, and directed PSAs for Aerosmith. His productions have spanned across the United States, Europe, Canada, and Mexico.
